Back to Business Government Guidance post COVID-19

Many storage and distribution logistic companies continued to be active during the pandemic shutdown, and many UK businesses have continued to export to the USA and Canada.

In line with the Government’s latest announcements to further ease the lockdown, our insurer partner AXA has produced a range of guides that you may find useful to help your business.

Supply chain guidance Distribution and logistics guidance

If you haven’t already it is advisable to contact your suppliers and customers to determine to what extent you will need to re-establish your inwards and outwards supply chains. If there are likely to be shortfalls of raw materials to produce products, it is worth planning expected production dates or service delivery to manage customer expectations.

If warehousing goods yourself, ensure safety limits are not exceeded, sprinkler rules are complied with and fire exit routes are kept clear.

Please continue to monitor Government announcements regarding the Covid-19 rules and guidelines.
